CELEBRITYBreaking News: A new business for the Middletons? Pippa’s husband James Matthews is to open Bucklebury Farm Park for ‘parties, events and pilates’
Kate Middleton’s brother-in-law James Matthews is due to open Bucklebury Farm Park’s lodge for ‘parties, events and Pilates’, according to sources.
The businessman, who is married to Pippa Middleton, bought the park in 2022 for £1.5million, and it is located around two miles from the Middleton family home, Bucklebury Manor. Its petting zoo was a particular favourite of Prince George, who would be taken there by his grandmother Carole Middleton when he was young.
Last year, Pippa and James purchased a £15 million Georgian mansion just 20 minutes away – and will no doubt visit with their young family, Arthur, Grace and a little girl – thought to have been named Rose – born in June 2022.
Now, it has emerged the couple are set to open its lodge on the estate for a variety of events, according to DailyMail’s Richard Eden. Both James and Pippa have experience of managing large businesses in the past; former racing driver and hedge fund manager James Matthews, is the CEO of Eden Rock Capital Management. Meanwhile Pippa has launched a number of initiatives over the years.
In 2021, writing in the Mail on Sunday, Charlotte Griffiths reported that Pippa had established a new company, Pippa’s Playground, focused on ‘human health activities’. A spokeswoman told the paper at the time that ‘Pippa continues to focus on her studies’, prompting Griffiths to hypothesise that the course she is undertaking could cover a number of areas within the field of holistic wellbeing, such as areas as acupuncture, homeopathy, hydrotherapy and massage
