There was much speculation about the couple’s wedding. Swift and Kelce don’t seem interested in inviting the world’s most famous celebrities to their wedding:
According to PEOPLE, a source close to the situation informed them that they intend to make it “a private affair” rather than a grand spectacle. The two will be inviting their closest circle of friends but will otherwise be expecting privacy.
“It will definitely be a private affair and not a spectacle,” the source told PEOPLE. “They both have a close circle of friends, and they’ll respect their privacy.”
The source added that Swift is “incredibly happy” with how things are going and that the entire situation has been “just perfect.”
“She’s incredibly happy,” the source said. “It’s all just perfect.”
It was a rough opening game for Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs as they began their conference title defense. They played the rival Los Angeles Chargers in Brazil, where they lost 27-21.
Kelce had a much better game than last year’s Super Bowl, reeling in two receptions for 47 yards and the team’s lone touchdown reception.
But that may be small comfort as the team lost a winnable match in the first game of what may be Kelce’s final NFL season.
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s romance sparked in July 2023, when the Chiefs tight end tried (and failed) to give her a friendship bracelet at an Eras Tour stop—then talked about it on his podcast, which eventually led them to connect.
