Taylor Swift despises the NFL: Where was the pop star this Sunday?

The boxes at SoFi Stadium were a little quieter than expected this week. The visit of the Kansas City Chiefs to the Los Angeles Chargers heralded a tornado of photographers and teenagers in the vicinity of the stadium, but all that was ruled out when it was learned that Taylor Swift would not attend the game.

According to a report from RedZone’s Scott Hanson, Swift even already had a suite reserved at the stadium. But, to the disappointment of the Swifties and the paparazzi, the singer decided to attend the Golden Globes ceremony.

In addition to being one of the stars of the moment, Taylor will attend the ceremony because her film Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour has been nominated in the Cinematic and Box Office Achievement category, along with blockbusters such as Barbie, Spiderman: Across the Spiderverse, and John Wick: Chapter 4, among others.

Travis Kelce was not at the game either
Swift wasn’t the only one fans missed at SoFi Stadium. Hours before the game, Chiefs coach Andy Reid decided to keep Swift’s boyfriend, tight end Travis Kelce, on the bench, and days before, he announced that he would not send quarterback Patrick Mahomes to the field either.

With the ticket to the postseason and the AFC West title more than secured, Reid decided not to risk his stars, so the crowd in the stadium will have to settle for watching the second Chiefs team.

Although he will not take the field this week, it is highly unlikely that Kelce will accompany his girlfriend to the Golden Globes ceremony. The tight end will stay to support his team during the game, and with his first postseason game scheduled for next weekend, Reid will not allow any distractions.
