A man found in a coma at a house fire that killed a mother and her three children is now ‘expected to survive’ and could be fit to stand trial for their murder by the end of the year, a court has heard.
Bryonie Gawith, 29, Denisty Birtle, nine, Oscar Birtle, five, and 22-month-old Aubree Birtle died following the blaze at their home in Westbury Road, Bradford, West Yorkshire, in the early hours of August 21 last year.
