Serena Williams, a loving mother of two daughters, Olympia and Adira, recently shared how she had a “cuddle” session with them. Olympia, who is 8 years old, is the elder daughter of the 23-time Grand Slam champion, while Adira just turned two in August 2025.
Williams and her husband, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, first met in Rome in 2015 while she was there for the Italian Open. They became engaged in 2016, and they welcomed Olympia on September 1, 2017. The couple married in New Orleans in November 2017. Williams frequently updates her fans on social media about her daughters, Olympia and Adira, sharing glimpses into their daily lives. Recently, the former World No. 1 posted a series of selfies with her daughters, cuddling on the bed, and referred to them as her “cuddle buddies.”
“Momma’s cuddle buddies,” Williams captioned her Instagram post.
The heartwarming pictures of the mother-daughter trio received a variety of positive reactions from Williams’ fans. One fan extended good wishes for Thanksgiving, while others expressed admiration and sent love and “blessings” to the “beautiful family.”

On the tennis side of things, Williams turned professional in 1995. She won a staggering total of 39 Grand Slam titles during her career, including 23 in singles, seven titles each at the Australian Open and Wimbledon, six at the US Open, and three at the French Open. The former World No. 1 claimed 14 Grand Slam titles in doubles alongside her sister, Venus Williams, and won two mixed doubles titles while partnering with Max Mirnyi.
Williams held the world No. 1 ranking in both singles and doubles in the WTA rankings. She also earned four Olympic medals–three in doubles and one in singles–for the United States.
The 44-year-old retired from professional tennis in 2022 after competing in the US Open. There, she defeated Danka Kovinić and Evgeniya Rodina in the first and second rounds, respectively, before losing to Ajla Tomljanović in the third round, marking the end of her playing career.
