Kate Middleton is known to create her children’s birthday cakes — and has said she wouldn’t have it any other way!
Princess Kate and Prince William are celebrating the 6th birthday of their youngest son, Prince Louis, on April 23, and the festivities might include a homemade birthday cake by Kate.
“I love making the cake,” the Princess of Wales, 42, said on A Berry Royal Christmas in 2019. “It’s become a bit of a tradition that I stay up ’til midnight with ridiculous amounts of cake mix and icing, and I make far too much. But I love it.”
Over the summer, the royal mom asked Great British Baking Show finalist Alice Fevronia for advice about icing and brought up her hobby of baking her children’s birthday cakes during the Big Tea Party for the 75th birthday of the National Health Service. The Prince and Princess of Wales both participated in a dessert tutorial at the event and helped decorate cupcakes
