NFL star Jason Kelce’s pregnant wife Kylie has revealed that she is taking not one but two OB-GYNs as guests to the Super Bowl in case she goes into labor in the stands.
Kylie, 29, who is 38-weeks pregnant, explained that she wanted to take additional support to the Arizona showdown at Glendale’s State Farm Stadium this weekend.
Her husband, 35, who is Philadelphia Eagles center, had previously revealed that Kylie would be taking an OB-GYN with her, but this number has since been revised.
Kylie, 29, said that it was going to be ‘all hands on deck’ as the couple, who already share three-year-old Wyatt and one-year-old Elliotte Ray, anticipate the arrival any day now.
The soon-to-be mother-of-three’s valiant determination to be by her husband’s side at 38-weeks pregnant was celebrated this week by baby brand Frida, who announced it is officially sponsoring Kylie’s appearance at the Super Bowl – while naming her ‘Most Valuable Pusher’.
Speaking to PEOPLE today, Kylie admitted that she is currently feeling ‘very pregnant.’
She revealed: ‘With number three, it’s all familiar feelings. It’s like right when you think there’s no room left, somehow your body makes room. So we’re still stretching, even though I swear there’s no room.’
Asked about the medical team she was taking with her to Sunday’s clash, Kylie told the publication: ‘I will have two with me.
‘They’re both my OBs on a regular basis, but I didn’t necessarily want one to be by themselves. All hands on deck.’
The 29-year-old said that she had started discussing the possibility that her due date might overlap with the Super Bowl back in the fall of last year.
Her husband’s team had been on an eight-game winning streak at the time which prompted her to consider the potential clash, and allowed her to prepare ahead of time.
She said that her OB-GYNs had been ‘very understanding of the situation.’
But Kylie took to Instagram on Thursday to tell her 34,000 followers that she was hoping to avoid needing them at the Super Bowl.
‘It would be an unfortunate time to give birth. But we’ll cross our fingers and our toes – and I will also cross my legs – and hope for the best,’ she joked.
