I just read Luigi Mangione’s manifesto (the real one) The last line hit the hardest.

I just read Luigi Mangone’s letter that was found on his person when he was arrested. He watched his mother develop neuropathy in her feet at the age of 41. He watched her deteriorate to the point of her waking, screaming in pain in the middle of the night, crawling on her hands & knees to the bathroom. United Healthcare wanted to charge her $180,000 for back surgery that would not help her. Now he has chronic back pain. He says being non-violent never works. He loved his mama. Luigimangione
