The equalities watchdog has launched an extraordinary intervention into the row over single-sex spaces in Scotland.

 

NHS Fife has defended its decision to allow trans medic Beth Upton to use the women’s facilities at Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy, despite nurse Sandie Peggie raising concerns.
