A devastated classical musician said his life has been ‘torn apart’ after his 284-year-old violin was stolen from a pub while he was having dinner.
David Lopez Ibanez, a member of the Philharmonia orchestra, was with a friend at the Marquess Tavern in Islington, north London, after a rehearsal on Tuesday when his ‘priceless’ instrument was taken from the bench he was sitting on.
