The Kansas City Chiefs will have all eyes on them as they kick off the NFL season on Thursday night against the Baltimore Ravens.
But there will be a large portion of the audience tuning in to get a glimpse of Taylor Swift, the pop star who will reportedly be in attendance for the game.
Team CEO Clark Hunt admitted that he’s not exactly sure where the ‘Wildest Dreams’ singer will be at Arrowhead Stadium.
‘No, it’s always a little bit of a surprise, but I’m sure the TV cameras will find her,’ he said on the 3rd Hour of TODAY on Sept. 5.
Swift became incredibly popular during Chiefs games last season ever since she showed up to her first game against the Chicago Bears in mid-September 2023.
The international pop superstar attended a total of 13 games last season – including the AFC Championship game and Super Bowl LVIII.
‘It caught us by surprise. When she showed up at that first game against the Chicago Bears, our fans went crazy,’ Hunt said.
‘And it certainly has impacted our fanbase. We have a lot more female fans now and, specifically, young female fans.’
Hunt said he’s ‘excited’ about the future of the Swift-Kelce relationship and revealed that he attended her concert at Arrowhead Stadium before the previous season.
Swift has become so ingratiated with the team that she’s been drawing up plays for Kelce to try out.
On the Rich Eisen Show, Hunt said he’s heard such rumors about Swift’s playcrafting and is open to seeing how well she does.
‘I am, I will say that Andy’s fond of saying that he has a 51 percent vote on what actually goes in the game plan. I know if she draws something up for us, it’s gonna be great.’
