Simone Biles is a vociferous supporter when her family and friends are involved. We often spot her in stands rooting for her beloveds. Be it cheering for fiancé Jonathan Owens or younger sister Adria, Simone never sighs away from expressing her support.
Continuing in her legacy this time, the 25-year-old’s sister has extended support for Simone’s friend. Adria took to her Instagram to extend support to her dear friend. Read along to find out more!
Simone’s sister shares a story supporting an athlete friend
Adria, earlier today, took to her Instagram stories to share three pictures of the softball star player, Janae Jefferson. In the shared story, there are three images capturing the softball player from three different angles.
Adria did not just extend her admiration for her friend, but also praised her. She captioned the story, “Can we just take a moment.” Biles’s sister also dropped a love-struck emoticon at the end of her caption. This is, however, not the first time that Adria has shared something on Instagram in Janae’s praise. A former gymnast, Adria, some days back, took to her Instagram to thank Janae for teaching her “how to throw a football.”
Sharing her day, she further wrote, “having the time of life, meeting new people, having my girlfriend by my side, and losing flag football.” Adria shared multiple pictures from that day. In one of the shared pictures, she posed alongside Janae.
Simone Biles and Adria Biles and their love for gymnasts
Simone is not the only gymnast from the Biles family. Talking after her elder sister’s passion, Adria also has a knack for gymnasts. She took gymnastics lessons since age nine. She even participated in the 2016 Junior Elite Level alongside Simone.
However, she soon found her true calling in dancing. She left gymnastics to become a dancer. She is currently a part of the Houston Astros Shooting Stars dance team. Often referred to as Simone’s look-alike, Adria remains one of Simone’s ardent supporters. When Simone withdrew from the Tokyo Olympics, her sister rushed in to show her support. The two sisters always had each other’s backs through thick and thin.
