US Revokes Visas of Foreign Nationals Who Celebrated Charlie Kirk’s As+a§§ination
The United States government has revoked the visas of several foreign nationals who publicly celebrated the as+a§§ination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, in what officials described as a firm stand against hate speech and glorification of v+olence.
In a statement released Tuesday, the U.S. State Department confirmed that multiple visa holders had been identified and sanctioned for making inflammatory remarks online following Kirk’s k+lling.
“The United States has no obligation to host foreigners who wish d+ath on Americans,” a State Department spokesperson said. “We continue to identify visa holders who celebrated the heinous as+a§§ination of Charlie Kirk.”
Officials revealed that individuals from Argentina, South Africa, Mexico, Brazil, Germany, and Paraguay were among those affected.
An Argentine national reportedly said Kirk “devoted his entire life spreading r@cist, xen+phobic, misogynistic rhetoric” and “deserves to b+rn in hell.”
A South African national mocked Americans mourning the activist, while a Mexican national wrote that Kirk “d+ed being a r@cist” and that “some people deserve to d+e.”
A Brazilian national called him the reason for a “Nazi rally,” while a German commenter justified the m¥rder, saying, “When fascists d+e, democrats don’t complain.”
Authorities said the visa revocations are part of a broader policy shift aimed at foreign nationals who engage in or promote hate-fueled content that threatens public order. Officials added that similar cases would continue to be reviewed.
Kirk, 31, co-founder of Turning Point USA and a close ally of Donald Trump, was f+tally sh%t on September 16 while addressing a crowd of over 3,000 people at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah.
Tyler Robinson, 22, was arrested and charged with m¥rder, obstruction of justice, witness tampering, and committing v+olence in the presence of children. Prosecutors said they would pursue the d+ath penalty, describing the crime as “politically motivated and deeply disturbing.”
