Hundreds of people came together in York yesterday for the funeral of a police officer who was hit by a lorry after stopping off-duty to help victims of a car crash.
More than 800 people gathered at York Minster to pay tribute to PC Rosie Prior, 45, who was killed at the scene near the town of Thirsk in North Yorkshire last month.
