Danny DeVito and Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Next Movie Together Is in the Works: ‘We Have a Script Being Written’
Danny DeVito and Arnold Schwarzenegger previously costarred in hit movies like ‘Twins’ and ‘Junior’ in the ’80s and ’90s
DeVito, 79, appeared at the premiere of Chris Pine’s directorial debut Poolman in Los Angeles on April 24, where he dished to Entertainment Tonight about the pair’s next project together. “We really want to work together and we’ve been talking about it for quite a while,” the actor shared. “We’re onto something now, we have a script being written. As soon as that comes in we’ll know better, but we’ll do it at Warner Brothers, so there you go.”
DeVito and Schwarzenegger, 76, who most notably costarred in the 1988 comedy Twins, as well as 1994’s Junior, have been teasing the project publicly since 2023.
“He’s a good buddy, you know? He’s just a good pal. So you know, and we go together kind of. We fit, right?” DeVito added to ET of working with Schwarzenegger.

A sequel to Twins was rumored to be in development for years before Schwarzenegger told The Hollywood Reporter in 2023 that the project was not moving forward. DeVito initially confirmed the pair’s new project was officially in the works during a March interview with CNN.
