NFL fans had speculated that Swift might distance herself from Mahomes after the wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes allegedly liked a Donald Trump MAGA post on social media.
The post included phrases such as “seal the border and stop the migrant invasion,” “keep men out of women’s sports,” and “secure our elections,” leading to rumours that Swift, known for her left-leaning political stance, might cut ties with Mahomes.
These rumours quickly gained traction online, with fans predicting potential tension between the two in the stadium suites during the upcoming NFL season.
One fan commented, “Well it looks like Brittany can forget posting up with Taylor Swift in the skyboxes from now on. Could seriously strain their TikTok relationship.”
Another added, “This season is gonna be awkward in the stadium suites with Brittany and Taylor Swift.”
Impact on Swift-Mahomes friendship
Despite the speculation, it appears that all is well between Swift and Mahomes. The two were recently seen spending time together in Rhode Island, quelling any rumours of a falling out.
