Prince Harry was dubbed “the people’s prince” after a sweet exchange he had with one of his fans during his four-day visit to the UK. On Tuesday, the Duke of Sussex headed to Nottingham to visit the Community Recording Studio (CRS) and announce his £1.1 million personal donation to BBC Children in Need to support young people affected by youth violence.

The King’s younger son beamed as he arrived in Nottingham 45 minutes late due to the Tube strike in London. He was greeted with cheers and jokes when he arrived at the charity and waved to the roughly 100 people that had gathered to catch a glimpse of him before entering the recording studio.

Prince Harry’s return to the UK has been met with “suspicion,” with royal historian Hugo Vickers claiming the Royal Family no longer trusts him. Mr Vickers said Harry “wasn’t trusted” and had “caused a lot of harm” with his memoir Spare and warned that anything the Duke says could resurface in a future tell-all.
